250 cc’s of milk
25 grams of butter or vegetable margarine
25 grams of flour
Salt (optional)
Preparation
- Melt the butter or margarine in a pot (not an aluminum one though as this will cause the sauce to burn).

- Stir briskly with a whisk so that it does not get lumpy and add in the salt.

- Once it cools, the sauce will acquire more consistency.
- If you want the sauce to be thinner, you can add in a little bit of milk or fish or chicken broth.
- It is advisable to prepare this sauce right before you intend to serve it out.
