Boiled Rice Recipe
Adequate for babies nine months of age on up. 2 servings.
Ingredients
60 grams of rice
1 small carrot
1 garlic tooth not peeled
½ laurel leaf
Salt (optional)
A dash of olive oil
Preparation
- Put around 300 cc’s of water to boil. Once it starts to boil add in the rice, the peeled carrot (chopped in small pieces), the garlic and the laurel leaf.
- Allow it to boil slowly for 20 minutes once it starts to boil.
- Remove the garlic and the laurel leaf once done.
- Before feeding to this to the baby, add in one teaspoon of olive oil.
- Store the rest of the rice in the refrigerator.
