Chicken Sticks Recipe
Adequate for babies twelve months of age on up.
Makes 4 servings.
Ingredients
300 grams of chicken breast
½ lemon (juice)
1 egg
Flour, egg (beaten) and breadcrumbs
Salt (optional)
Preparation
- Get rid of all the fat from the chicken breast and then cut the chicken into long sticks, all the same size.
- Sprinkle the lemon juice on top of them and allow them to sit in the refrigerator for 1 to 4 hours.
- Prepare the sauce for the chicken sticks by flouring the chicken first (shake off the excess amount of flour) then dip them in the beaten egg, and finally the breadcrumbs.
- Divide the serving portions and keep the ones you are not going to use in the freezer.
- Fry the portion you are going to use with an abundant amount of hot olive oil. Once they acquire a golden brown color, allow them to cool on a metal rack and serve them cool.
