Garbanzo Puree Recipe
Adequate for babies nine months of age on up.
Serves around 4 portions.
Ingredients
250 grams of boiled garbanzos
200 grams of potatoes
1 small onion
½ leaf of laurel
1,250 cc’s of water or vegetable or chicken stock
Preparation
- Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into small pieces.
- Place them to boil with the onion and the leaf of laurel for around 15 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is over, add in the garbanzos and let the food cook for another 5 minutes.
- Take the food off the heat, remove the laurel leaf and put the puree in the blender or mash it depending on if you want the food to have fiber in it or not.
- Divide the portions and set aside what is going to be used for the baby at that moment, the rest of the puree should be kept by following the storing indications.
