How to Teach your Child

The session you have with your child can be made up of reading loose words, flash cards or math dots, but in any case, the key to doing this is enthusiasm. Stop being subtle with your little child. Speak to your child in a nice voice that is clear and strong, full of all the enthusiasm that you are really feeling. You child will have an easy time hearing and feeling your enthusiasm. If you have somewhat of a strong voice and does not have enough enthusiasm, then change your voice. If you impose enthusiasm in your voice, your child will absorb it like a sponge. Children are fascinated about learning and they learn very rapidly. Therefore, you will need to teach your child the materials very quickly. Us adults, do almost everything way too slowly for children. The spot where this is talked about in more of a painful way is the way in which adults teach little children. In general, we hope the child sits down and continues looking at his didactic material, and sits there with a face that show he is concentrating. We also hope that he will look a little bit sad so he can show he is truly learning here.

Children are not the ones that think learning is a hard thing; adults are the ones that think this
When you are showing a child flash cards, do this as quickly as you can. You will be able to go dominating this more each time with practice. Practice a little bit more by showing them to the father until you are able to handle them in a confident way. It is absolutely fundamental for your success that you teach these materials very rapidly. The speed and the fun are tied together in an inseparable way in the process of learning. Anything that increases the process will increase the fun and anything that delays it will cause the fun to be reduced. A slow session is a terrible session because it will bore the child to death. It is an insult to the learning capacity of the child and the child will interpret it as such. The materials need to be carefully designed so that they are big and clear, in such a way that you can show them very quickly and so that your child is able to see them easily. Sometimes when a mother acquires speed, she tends to become a little mechanical and starts to lose her natural enthusiasm and that music that they have in their voice. It is possible to keep the enthusiasm and the right tone of voice and
work very quickly at the same time. It is important to do it this way. The interest of your child and his enthusiasm for learning will be tightly related to three different things which are: the speed in which the mother shows the material to the child, the amount of new material that is shown to the child, and the happy and enthusiastic attitude of the mother. The more speed there is and the more new material that keeps popping up and the more joy involved in the whole process, the better it is for everyone especially the child. This matter of speed, on its own, can establish the difference between a successful learning session and one that is simply too slow for your child who is more upbeat and smart. Children do not stay watching, they do not need to stay watching: they absorb, and they absorb right away like little sponges.
