Super Moms
It has almost turned into a topic to say that the most important is not the amount of time we spend with our babies but also the good quality of time we do spend with them. Obviously the quality of time we spend with out babies is just as important. But the amount of time we spend with them is also important. We live in a society that wants to believe that it is possible their women be everything for everyone. However, this is not possible. The idea that it is possible to be a sort of super mom that carries out a full time profession outside of her home and is capable of proving her children with the same maternal care she received from the hands of her mother when she was a child full time, is of course, absurd. It is not

possible to do so. In reality it is very unfair to expect a woman to be able to achieve that. Nobody wants to say it, because it would mean that we, as individuals and as a society, will need to choose between the future of our children and what we can consider as our own professional future. in a more reasonable society, when a woman decided to have a child she would be able to take six years, and not six months, to be with her child. After this, she could go back to doing what she did before she had her baby.
There are a great number of professionals that have done the same thing. They say that the experience of being a full time mother has been the most important job they have every done. They say besides this, that they are now much better doctors, lawyers or whatever they were before they interrupted their career to turn into professional mothers. Six years is a very small amount of time in the life of an adult, but in a child these are precious years that will not come back again. It is a tragedy for our society that with so much frequency the father and the mother work many hours in order to give their child or children a good material life. But the consequence is that the little child does not see his parents very much or as much as he needs to. After when we have established the material security that takes so much of our time, we want to spend time with our children, who are already young adults. Then it is they that do not have time to spend with us. We realize too late that we have missed the boat. It is possible that having that second car or going on those vacations were not as important as we thought after all. Decidedly, each one of us and society as a whole should set certain things straight, certain important things about the lives of our babies between birth and six years of age. Everybody knows deep down inside their hearts, that the fact of taking children away from their mothers and placing them with dozens of other small children that have also been separated from their mothers is a bad idea. Everybody should know it but nobody wants to say it. The work world of today is based on the supposition that little children do not need to be with their mothers and that they can be put together like little flocks of sheep and that everything will turn out just fine doing it this way. This is an absolute lie. The idea of the quality of time is good, but there is nothing better than a mother and a father for each child. It has never existed and never will exist.
