You will need to come up with a fast and efficient method of preparing your flash cards because you are going to need quite a good amount. needs the visual information to be consistent and reliable. This will help him tremendously. The materials start out with big letters, lower case letters in red and progressively go changing until they get to normal size letters in lower case letters and in black. This is due to that little children have immature sight. The size of the letters in the material will need to go reducing in size gradually so that the eyesight of the child can go maturing with stimulus and use.
At first big red letters are used for the simple reason that they can be seen with more facility. They are red because this is the color that attracts little children. To start out with, it can result easier to buy a toy that is already made. When you start to teach your child to read, you will discover that your child is able to rapidly go over the new material. As we have already said and will continue saying, parents are always amazed at the speed in which their children are able to learn. A long time ago experts discovered that it is better to start with time. Prepare at least 200 words before you start to teach your child. This way you will have at hand an adequate provision of new materials that are already ready to be used. If you do not do it this way, you will find that you will always be delayed. The temptation of teaching the same old words over and over again is very big. If the mother falls into this temptation, a great disaster awaits her in her in reading program. The only mistake a child does not tolerate is that they show him over and over again the same old materials and words that should have already been discarded a long time ago. Be smart and make sure to prepare the materials ahead of time and do not lose your pace. If for some reason you get behind in the preparation of new materials do not fill those holes teaching the child with the same old flash cards of always. Interrupt your program for one day or one week if you need to until you have organized yourself again and have prepared new materials. Afterwards, carry on from the point where you last left off. The preparation of the materials can be and should be very fun. If you are preparing the materials for tomorrow, it won’t be. Start out with time. Keep on top of things and if you need to, stop and reorganize yourself but do not teach the same thing over and over again.
