The Importance of a Good Memory
The amount of data that we are able to store is limited to the number of memory registers that the computer has. If we store a number one in the memory we will not have anything more than that data. We will be able to ask the computer to repeat what we have told it. If we were to store another number one in another memory register, we will be able to ask the computer various questions. Such as how much one plus one is or how much two minus one is. If we were to store another one in another memory register, the number of questions that we can make increases quite a bit. How much is one plus one for example, how much is one plus two? How much is one plus one plus one? How much is three minus two? How much is three minus one? And so forth. By adding each new data, the number of answers we can receive increases, not in arithmetic progression but in geometric progression. If we introduce confusing information, we will get confusing information. Computer engineers

have a great saying as far as this is concerned. If you put crap in it, you will get crap out. Given that this is so evident, we would not dream of allowing a human being that is not capable of programming a computer to program our precious computer. This is why we dedicate a lot of time and money in sending human beings to learning centers so that they learn how to program computers. We treat computers with such respect, it’s not even funny. The best computers that exist have an equivalent intelligence, according to the calculation of the computer experts, to that of an insect called earwigs, who do not stand out for their intelligence. Let us consider therefore that that incredible computer is the
brain of a child that weighs 1,600 grams and that it has ten times the capacity of the national archives of the United States. The computer
works basing itself on the same principles of the human brain, and it was designed naturally, inspired on the human brain. Until now, computers continue to surprise us but they continue being very bad imitations of the human brain.
