The Power of the Human Brain

The human brain is the most excellent of all the computers and is ruled by the same rules. With a small amount of data, it can get to a small number of conclusions. With a medium amount of data, it can get to a medium amount of conclusions. With a big number of conclusions it can get to a huger amount of conclusions. If we are talking about data related amongst each other, the amount of conclusions is astounding. We have the same requirements as computers do. If we place garbage in the brains of our children, we will get garbage out of them. When talking about the presentation of the data of children, we prefer to call each individual a unit of intelligence, instead of calling the child a unit of

information. A unit of intelligence will therefore need to consist of preciseness, discreteness, and no ambiguity. What can thirty seconds be used for? What are we not able to do in thirty seconds? Let us consider what different parents are able to do within thirty seconds. A child peeps out of the window and says, what is that? There are a number of different things that can be said, perhaps the mother in this occasion says “I’m sorry honey, I’ve got to sweep the floor right now. It will take us around thirty seconds to free ourselves from the child and convince him. Another thing that we could also do is to lean over the window and say “Oh, that a woof, woof” it again will take us around thirty seconds to convince the child of this. Out of all the ways that the arrogant adults have of making children lose their valuable time and their valuable brain, there are few compared to the fact that teaching them two or three different vocabulary words that go from fulsome to the obscene. As time goes by, we will probably whack a child if they were to use the words in their first vocabulary. Adults have the bad habit of using silly words to describe certain things such as animals like cats and dogs, birds, urine, feces, sexual organs and a lot of other things. Think about the amount of words that we teach our children in different stages with the meaning of the word vagina for example. What would happen if we called it the real word,

vagina, from the first moment? The truth is that it is not a bad word. Something else that we might say to a child that asks us and that will only take us thirty seconds is to tell the child “That is a cat”. It will take us less then thirty seconds to convince the child of it. If we say that it is a dog we will at least be telling the child the truth. Obviously, this answer is far from covering the requirements. The word “dog” or “cat” etc, is not exactly precise, it is not discrete and is very ambiguous. If we use the word dog or cat there are a good number of people that will come up with different images in their head ranging from small animals that are brown to images of humongous hairy animals that are white and black. These words can also be the name we have given to a friend or ours or a person we highly dislike. The one other thing that we could answer to the child is that the thing he is looking at is a dog that is called a beagle. The parent can then put it thirty seconds of precise, discrete, real and not ambiguous information. The last choice is a good answer given that it covers all the requirements to answer the child’s question.
